Turf Metrix
Launched in October 2024, Turf Metrix is a new trading name & brand for 3FI Pacific Pty Ltd, which was formed in 2019 to sell Soil Scouts soil moisture measurement solutions to Australia and New Zealand.
With this launch, Turf Metrix is pleased to expand the portfolio of remote monitoring and analytics solutions targeted at the golfing, turf, farming and agricultural industries.
As systems technologists themselves, Turf Metrix' founders have a straightforward selling philosophy and framework:

Technology Partners
Soil Scout
Founded in 2013, Finland-based Soil Scout offers a highly scalable wireless soil measurement solution measuring soil moisture, temperature, salinity and O2 levels. This may be integrated to rain gauges, automated irrigation systems, and third party platforms including Agdir and WxOutside through a REST API.
Agdir
From a chance conversation in 2017, Norway-based Agdir has been growing leaps and bounds to provide farm and field management software on a subscription basis. Agdir is used by thousands of European farmers to optimize crop health and growth, and is integrated to diverse sources of data including Soil Scouts and satellite-based NVDI measurements.
S2J
Australian- and New Zealand-based engineers established S2J in 2016, to offer bespoke IoT solutions. Existing products include electronic Fire Danger Rating digital signs, and the Multi-Tank Sensor Systems (measuring all liquids including potable and waste water, as well as chemicals such as diesel and fertilser). S2J offer bespoke IoT hardware and software services too.
WxOutside
Since 2016, WxOutside has been combining machine learning, soil moisture and weather forecast data to deliver consistently accurate soil moisture forecasts. This means irrigation decisions can be made with the benefit of forecast understandings of the impact of rain, sun, and wind on the health of your turf or crops. WxOutside has been integrated to Soil Scouts.
Field Mouse
Field Mouse is a cloud-based IoT monitoring and control system which allows you to remotely monitor and control your field, open-space applications and assets from any internet-enabled communications device. It has already been integrated with Soil Scout and WxOutside technologies, to optimize management of council-owned sports fields.
